Terms of Service
Last updated: October 30, 2026
Welcome to Launchwave ("we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Launchwave website, waitlist, launch readiness reports, app and connected tools (the "Service"). By joining the waitlist, creating an account or using Launchwave, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use Launchwave on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.
2. Early Access and the Waitlist
Launchwave is in early access. This means that:
- We open spots in batches, and joining the waitlist does not guarantee access by a particular date
- Features may change, be limited or be removed while we build the product, and some are marked as coming soon
- We may prepare your readiness report or launch plan from your product URL before you get access
- Founding-member pricing for waitlist members applies as described on our website when you joined
You can leave the waitlist at any time.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login information secure
- Activity that occurs under your account, including through AI assistants you connect to it
- Providing accurate and up-to-date information
If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
4. Your Products and Content
4.1 Ownership
You retain full ownership of the information you give us about your products and everything you create in Launchwave ("User Content"), including product descriptions, launch plans, drafts of posts and articles, notes and images.
We do not claim ownership over your products or your content.
4.2 License to Operate the Service
To run Launchwave, you grant us a limited license to:
- Store your content
- Process it through our tools, including AI features
- Read the public pages of the product URLs you give us
- Display it to you inside your account and in AI assistants you connect
- Make backup copies
This license ends when you delete your content or close your account.
4.3 Products You Submit
You confirm that you have the right to market the products you add to Launchwave and to share the information and files you give us about them.
5. AI Features and Limitations
Launchwave uses third-party AI providers such as OpenAI to analyze your product and draft launch content. By using AI features, you understand that:
- Your product information and content may be processed by those providers
- AI output, including research about your market and competitors, may contain errors, inaccuracies or outdated information
- Channel recommendations, positioning and drafts are suggestions for you to review, edit and decide on
- AI output should not be relied on for legal, financial or factual accuracy
We do not guarantee that AI output will be unique, accurate or free of third-party rights, or that following a plan will bring you users, signups or revenue.
6. What You Publish
Launchwave drafts posts, directory descriptions and outreach messages, but it never publishes or sends anything for you. You decide what to post and where, and you are responsible for what you publish, including following the rules of each community, platform and directory, and the laws that apply to marketing and unsolicited messages.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful or fraudulent purposes
- Use it to create spam, fake reviews, impersonation, or misleading claims about your product or others
- Market products or services that are illegal or that you don't have the right to promote
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape or misuse the platform, or get around plan limits
- Interfere with system integrity or security
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
8. Connected AI Assistants
You can connect AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude or Codex to your Launchwave account. A connected assistant acts on your instructions and can read and change your Launchwave data through the tools you allow. You are responsible for what it does in your account, and your use of that assistant is governed by its provider's terms. You can disconnect it at any time.
9. Plans, Trials and Payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles payments, taxes, billing and customer service inquiries about your purchase.
By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:
- Pay all applicable fees and taxes
- Allow recurring monthly charges until you cancel
- Provide accurate billing information
Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial that needs no credit card. If you cancel during the trial, or don't add payment details, you are not charged.
Each plan includes the limits shown on our pricing page, such as the number of active products. We may change prices and plan limits, but will notify you in advance, and a change in price applies from your next billing period.
10. Refunds and Cancellations
We want Launchwave to be worth what you pay, and if for any reason you are not satisfied, we are here to help. Refunds are handled by Paddle. To request one, contact us and we will submit the request on your behalf, or contact Paddle directly.
We offer a minimum 14-day refund window from the date of each payment. We also honor refund requests that are required by law in your region.
You can cancel or change your plan at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Unless required by law, we do not provide prorated refunds for unused time in a billing period.
11. Termination
You may stop using Launchwave at any time and request deletion of your data.
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
- You breach these Terms
- Your actions harm the platform, other users or third parties
- Required by law
Upon termination, we may retain minimal data where legally required or for security purposes, but your content will be deleted upon request.
12. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, designs, code and platform materials belong to Launchwave or our licensors. You may not copy, distribute or create derivative works from our platform.
This does not apply to your own products or content.
13. Third-Party Services
Launchwave relies on third-party providers such as:
- OpenAI (AI processing)
- Paddle (payments)
- AWS (hosting and sign-in)
- Vercel (website hosting)
- Google (Google sign-in and website analytics)
Your use of the Service also means you agree to the terms of these providers where applicable. We are not responsible for third-party platforms you choose to post on.
14. Privacy
Your use of Launchwave is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and process data.
15. Disclaimers
Launchwave is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee:
- Any launch outcome, such as users, signups, rankings or revenue
- The accuracy or completeness of AI output and market research
- Service availability or uptime, especially during early access
Use the platform at your own risk.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost opportunities
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
17. Governing Law
Because Launchwave operates from Spain, these Terms are governed by Spanish law and applicable EU regulations. Disputes will be handled through the appropriate courts in Spain unless otherwise required by consumer protection law.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when needed. If changes are significant, we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
19. Contact
For questions or concerns, reply to any email you have received from Launchwave, or message us on X at @launchwave_ai.
